SAHARA CHALLENGE | cost
The total cost of the Sahara Challenge is $600, which includes food, housing, materials, and training. A $50 non-refundable application fee is required to complete your online application and covers the cost of your welcome kit.
The total cost for an optional ENCOUNTER>>journey ranges from $3200-$3600 depending on your destination. Price includes the Sahara Challenge training, international airfare, travel insurance, visa fees, food & lodging and local transportation.
The total cost of the training and an overseas trip can look overwhelming! We strongly encourage you to raise funds to pay for at least half of the cost. Fundraising is not asking people for a handout. By participating, you are putting yourself in a position to have an eternal impact on the Muslim world. When people contribute, they are not simply "helping you out." They are sending you to answer a calling. Often this step in the process is quite joyful and spiritually fruitful.
Detailed information on fund raising is included in the welcome kit you will receive upon acceptance to the program.
